Questions & Answers
Practical questions about Syntera EW systems: track record, warranty, service, purchasing, and operation. If your question is not covered here, message us on WhatsApp and we will answer directly.
Company and track record
Who manufactures these systems, and can the company be trusted?
The manufacturer is Syntera Defence LLC, a Ukrainian engineering company founded in 2024 and based in Kyiv. Syntera is a resident of the Brave1 defence cluster. We operate formally: contract, invoice, and delivery documentation.
Feedback from military users of our systems is available on request. An independent video review of our equipment is also available.
Are the systems proven in real combat conditions?
Yes. Syntera systems are in service with units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces. We deliberately do not publish photos or materials from deployment to protect our users — but on request we can share anonymized feedback.
Has the equipment been tested?
Yes. The systems have undergone range testing against real drones, including recorded footage of an FPV drone going down after the system was switched on — test videos are available on request.
The systems are currently also undergoing testing to codification requirements: temperature, vibration, effective range, and others.
Are the products codified?
Codification is in progress: testing to codification requirements is underway. Please contact us for the current status at the time of your inquiry.
Can I see the system in action before buying?
We provide range test videos. Demonstrations are arranged individually — message us and we will agree on a format.
Ordering, payment, documents
What are the production and delivery times?
Production takes up to 20 business days from the moment of prepayment. The delivery method is agreed when ordering; we ship across Ukraine.
What are the payment terms?
50% prepayment on order, the balance after production, before shipment. Prices for every system are openly listed on the product pages.
Why are your prices among the lowest for EW systems in Ukraine?
This is a deliberate position, not a sign of cutting corners on components. From day one, the company's main goal has been to help the military — and in our view, the pricing policies of much of the market do not serve that goal. So we build our systems at the most affordable price we can.
Technically, this is possible because of how the company is structured: a small engineering team, in-house development and production without contractors, and direct sales from the manufacturer — no dealers or middleman margins.
Do you provide documents for units and charitable foundations?
Yes. We work with units, volunteers, and foundations: contract, invoice, and delivery documents — a complete package for unit or foundation reporting.
Will you help select a configuration for our sector?
Yes, this is a standard part of every order. Tell us which threats are relevant in your region or sector, and we will select the channel frequency configuration accordingly. The frequencies of each channel can be adjusted to the customer's needs.
Warranty, repair, upgrades
What warranty do the systems come with?
Warranty cases are repaired free of charge. Non-warranty damage is repaired at cost, with an estimate provided before any work begins.
Threat frequencies have changed — what about my system?
Contact us. The channel frequency configuration can be changed to match new threats — this is one of the core properties of our system architecture. Buying Syntera does not leave you with hardware locked to outdated frequencies.
Do you provide operator training?
Yes, we provide training at handover. After that we stay in touch: ongoing technical support via messengers, with no time limit.
Installation and power
Can the system be installed on a vehicle?
Yes. The antennas mount on the vehicle roof using magnetic mounts and connect by cable to the system unit, which sits inside the cabin or trunk.
How is the system powered?
The system can be powered from the vehicle's battery (onboard power). Other power options depend on the model and configuration — ask us when ordering.
How much does a kit weigh?
Up to 30 kg depending on the model and configuration. The exact weight is listed in the specifications on each product page.
Will the system jam my own communications?
The system transmits only within its configured channel bands. Devices operating outside those bands are not affected. When selecting a configuration, we take into account the communication equipment you use, so that the working bands do not interfere with it.
What the system can and cannot do
Which drones is the system effective against?
Drones that use a radio link for control or video transmission within the system's working bands — including FPV drones and commercial drones of the Mavic type, depending on the selected frequency configuration.
Does the system work against fiber-optic drones?
No. A fiber-optic drone does not use a radio link, so no electronic warfare system — ours or anyone else's — can affect it. The only protection against such drones is physical countermeasures and timely detection. We believe in saying this honestly.
Legality of purchase and use
Can a civilian legally purchase an EW system?
EW systems operate within the radio frequency spectrum, the use of which is regulated by Ukrainian law. The primary users of such systems are Defence and Security Forces units, for which their use is part of official duty.
Purchases by civilians, volunteers, and foundations for subsequent transfer to military units are established practice. For the use of a system by a civilian in a specific situation, we recommend obtaining legal advice: we do not provide legal opinions, but we can suggest typical arrangements when you contact us.
